If you’ve always wanted to own a piece of clothing previously worn by Kim Wilde, here’s a chance. Beverley Craven has started Who Gives A Frock, an online auction of glamorous pre-loved and vintage stage clothes and accessories generously donated and sent to you by the stars themselves – and one of them is Kim. Every penny raised will go to the Intensive Care Society, a UK charity which supports all intensive care professionals who have had quite a difficult time in this past year.
Kim has donated a red evening dress with bolero jacket and a hat that was originally given to her by Nick Beggs. The items come complete with a personal handwritten message with each purchase. Other contributing artists are Carol Decker from T’pau, Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston from Bucks Fizz, Sam Brown, Judie Tzuke, Sharon Corr and many more.
The auction has started on Friday, 22 January 2021 and the starting price for the two Kim Wilde items were £200 and £100. Bidding continues until Friday evening, 5 February 2021. Check out the website for more details.
