Yesterday was the official release date of ‘Pop Don’t Stop: A Biography’, the first ever biography about Kim Wilde. The book has arrived with various UK residents, and fans in other countries will follow shortly. As previously mentioned, the first 1000 copies will come with a signature by the author and an exclusive 2 track CD-single featuring never-before-released versions of ‘Child Come Away’ and ‘Sparks’. (With only about 100 copies to go, these are going to be sold out pretty soon!)
The physical book is available via the This Day in Music Books website, as well as Amazon and Waterstones.
The e-book can be ordered via Kindle and in various Apple-related formats.
The book starts in 1939 with the birth of Marty Wilde and then continues through Kim’s career, all the songs she’s recorded and performed, until the Greatest Hits album that is out in August. It features interviews with Anton Corbijn, Richard Blanshard, Gregg Masuak, Nick Beggs, Sabrina Winter and Steve Norman and many colourful photographs from throughout her career.

This is how a music biography should be. Musicians should use this book as a guide on how to create the perfect musical biography. (Amazon)
