Cherry Pop will release a special double transparent red vinyl edition of the album Special Disco Mixes on Record Store Day on 20 April 2024.
Special Disco Mixes is an irresistible remix album featuring 12” versions of ten of Kim’s classic singles, specially extended and reinvented in the spirit of the 80s. The remixes on this album were created by Project K, Matt Pop and Luke Mornay. Channelling vibes of electro, disco, synthwave and Hi-NRG, this double LP is beautifully packaged in era-authentic gatefold artwork with stunning photography.
Six of the remixes here were commissioned especially for this new album, and all ten are made available on vinyl for the first time exclusively for Record Store Day. The CD version of Special Disco Mixes will be released later this month as part of the box set Love Blonde – The RAK years.
Traditionally Record Store Day is focused on independent record stores all over the UK.
