In this programme, devoted to New Wave songs from the eighties, in which several artists from that period perform their songs, Kim sings live to a recorded backing track of ‘Kids in America 2006’.
In the interview, Kim is asked whether she foresaw that it would be a worldwide hit. She replies that she was there when her brother was composing the song in the adjacent room while she was trying to sleep… ‘Shut up!’.
